Hen Night and Stag Night Circus Parties
Back in the day, the basic idea for a hen night entertainment or
a stag night, was to go out, get 'mildly' drunk, do a whole bunch
of things (which for better or for worse) you probably wouldn't
remember in the morning, and end up, however attired, chained to
a lamp post.
How times have changed.
These days, people like to take their time over such events. They
hire a venue, such as a cottage in the country, or halls in the
town, and organise weekends full of events. Such as .... learning
lots of circus things ....
.... "why would anyone want to do that on a hen or stag night?"
I hear you ask.
Well, the answer is simple. It's lots of fun... but more importantly,
what could possibly prepare you more for a life of matrimonial
bliss, ready to fulfill every whim and desire of your future spouse,
than being able to juggle multiple items, standing on your head,
whilst riding a unicycle*
Of course, what you do after this is entirely up to you. It's highly
possible you'll get 'mildly' drunk, do a whole bunch of things (which
for better or for worse) you probably won't remember in the morning,
and end up, however attired, chained to a lamp post.
How times have changed.
Fancy dress is of course certainly not compulsory, but if you're
the sort of people who like dressing up, it does get everyone in
the mood.
